MOTAT "very interesting technology"
says German Visitor, Walter
Jentzsch,
"conversation English" student at "Our Farm-Park"

Voluntary workers have created a wonderful museum showing the changes to Transport and Technology over the years.  The working exhibits are remarkable.
A full day was needed for "Conversation English" student, Walter Jentzsch for this part of his  language course at "Our Farm-Park".  Many of the people working there stopped to explain various exhibits to him.
"Kiwis are very friendly and helpful," he said.

This massive wheel is part of pump water to the city in one of the many displays.   In the tram  recovery area, when the corner of this tram was cut out and renewed, it took hours - just.. ...part of hundreds of hours rebuilding it... . by lots of people with similar interests.. In the section on wonderful vintage vehicles, they shone - cleaner and brighter than when new...

And the day had, of course, to include a tram ride to the Zoo and back.
