both on and off the farm base
This certifies that
Michael Frangenberg
has completed an

advanced 75 hour course
requiring a wide variety of experiences
speaking only in the English Language
|
 |
On arrival, Michael was assessed on his current abilities
which showed that he was already very capable of understanding English
conversation at speed. For all 7 days he took part in activities and
conversations that were not adjusted for him as a German
first-language speaker. He added vocabulary as needed and followed instructions
to a level that proved his ability and comprehension.
Michael proved to have a
sound vocabulary & advanced language skills in conversation in English
Activities were thus tailored to mostly involve “one off” experiences
designed to strengthen his acceptance of his linguistic ability.
Activities on the farm included 4Xwheeler driving lessons; feeding out hay &
rounding up cattle; feeding horses; milking the house cow; feeding poultry;
building a new fence to create “Michael’s Feld”; taking a quiet part in
intensive discussions over meals.
Michael is computer competent
(in English also)
assisting preparation of web pages, rapidly learning “Microsoft Front Page”
Michael milking, computing, at top of volcano, feeding hay and
driving 4Xwheeler, feeding poultry, with Kopu, and collecting eggs.
Final Result:
Michael is a proficient English
speaking person
