from Hong Kong to take a "Conversation English" Course at
"Our Farm-Park"

When students come to Peter they have a sound knowledge
of written English....
Now they need to practice and NOT speaking to anyone
"at home". While with Peter they speak only English and do lots of
things that need them to talk, talk, talk... using English for 10 days

Peter picked Maria up from her hotel under
the Skytower seen herein the background...
Left - a beautiful ducks nest. The old duck,
"Mrs Covey" has made a nest..... ...in the fowl house and pulled out her soft down to
protect her 18 eggs in a basket.
The ducklings in the picture on the introduction page were raised on that
pond.
Maria cuts firewood and uses the bench saw.
They talk about why so much firewood is needed -- no hot water, no showers !!
Maria has come just as our 18-year-old house cow has had
difficulties following the birth of her calf Waitu
Maria has never driven and is learning to drive the
4Xwheeler.... quite a scary experience.
