...clear information boards...	...on the island, beaches and rocky shores..	.....For Gustav and Peter, the trip around the bays ends at Schoolhouse bay where they begin to walk across the Island in the quiet ...	.. and peacefulness...
... visiting an old, once busy copper mine where the tall chimney house a pump to keep out the sea ...	..... as men toiled in tunnels well below sea level..	... a shop and cafe...	...we've brought a picnic..
...under the massive Morton Bay fig tree, native pigeons feed leisurely and are only a short distance away, while peacock and peahen with..	...chicks, and a weka fascinate Gustav...	... meanwhile Peter sleeps under the huge Morton Bay fig	... but all good things must come to an end

Kawau is a wonderful Island
